Salary: £130,000 + bonus

As a Senior Go Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in developing the systems that power high-throughput cryptocurrency market data – ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability across their platform.

About the Role:

You’ll play a central role in designing and delivering systems that efficiently ingest, process, and distribute real-time crypto market data. This role also offers the opportunity to work with a variety of external APIs and to design new ones, expanding the scope and functionality of a robust data platform used globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and enhance backend systems for processing high-volume data streams
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code
• Integrate with external APIs and build out new APIs for data accessibility
• Work across both relational and non-relational database structures
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and performance

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience building high-throughput, scalable, and reliable backend systems
• Advanced proficiency in Go programming
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis, or similar technologies
• Solid grasp of system architecture, performance optimisation, and data processing
• Prior experience working in a data-rich, fast-paced environment is highly desirable
• Interest or experience in crypto or digital assets is a plus
